The meeting of the head of the Rostov-on-Don City Administration Vitaliy Kushnaryov and representatives of the Savings Bank of Russia was held in the Administration of the southern capital.
The chairman of the South-Western Branch Office of the Savings Bank Evgeny Titov, the Deputy Heads of the Administration Dmitry Chernyshov and Viktor Berezhnoy, the Director of the City’s Economy Department Svetlana Kambulova, the Administrator of the Rostov branch of the bank Dmitry Sukhoverkhov, and the Deputy Administrator of the Rostov branch Irina Dolskaya also took part in the workshop.
It is to be recalled that Evgeny Titov became the new head of the territorial bank, replacing Viktor Ventimilla Alonso, who, in turn, received a position at the North-West Branch Office of Sberbank of Russia.
Within the framework of the working meeting, the prospects of cooperation between the City Administration and the South-Western Branch Office of the Bank were discussed.
Representatives of the Savings Bank offered various options for cooperation, tested earlier in other parts of the country.
They talked about the possibility of leasing transactions in the acquisition of vehicles and municipal equipment and an instrument for implementing public and private partnerships for the development of the municipality, in particular, the bank’s ability to finance concession transactions, as well as the bank’s support for municipal contracts.
In addition, they also discussed the issue of the bank’s participation in the development of infrastructure for servicing city residents and guests in preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2018.
It was suggested to involve the bank representatives in the investment council under the head of the City Administration in order to support the inflow of investments into the economy of the municipality. Vitaly Kushnarev supported this initiative.
“Today, the Savings Bank is the number one bank in the country. The City Administration has accumulated a successful experience of interaction with the banking community. We are ready to continue cooperation and apply the Bank’s practices implemented in other municipalities and subjects of the Russian Federation,” said the City Administration Head.
