On September 25, 2019, at the Boiling Point of the Don State Technical University, a discussion platform entitled “Priority directions for the development of the innovative economy of Rostov-on-Don and ways to support the subjects of innovative activity of the city” was held.
The deputy director of the Department of Economics of the city of Rostov-on-Don, Lyashenko Alexei Andreyevich, addressed the discussion participants with a welcoming speech. He noted that creating a comfortable information environment is a promising task that requires detailed and careful consideration.
Alekseev Anton Sergeevich, Advisor to the Governor of the Rostov Region, emphasized that Rostov-on-Don, as the main center of attraction for all the forces in our region, should set the trend for the National Technology Initiative (STI), for the development of promising markets, for the support of existing enterprises and add new value to them through the application and development of innovation.
In turn, Tatyana Vladimirovna Zinchenko, Deputy General Director of the Rostov Municipal Fund for Entrepreneurship Support, spoke about the functions of the fund and current programs and answered questions from the participants of the event.
Sergey Nikolaevich Kotsukon, Program Director of the Boiling Point of the Dagestan State Technical University, in an active dialogue mode, discussed with the participants the practical applicability of NTI in the Don region.
Speaking at the venue, Anna V. Pushenko, Director General of the Rostov Region Innovation Agency ANO, noted that following the event, it would be possible to collect new interesting ideas and projects and emphasized that this event would be continued by a series of others on the topic of STI, which would result in the most objective NTI roadmap, taking into account the interests of all interested parties ready for cooperation.
Director of NPP Don Technologies, Parshukov Vladimir Ivanovich told participants about the use of Intelligent Energy Systems (IES) in the Rostov Region, Crimea and North Ossetia.
The site was attended by over 50 people. The participants in the platform included representatives of the subjects of innovative activity of the city of Rostov-on-Don: enterprises, organizations and individual entrepreneurs engaged in innovation, owners and directors of infrastructure, representatives of innovative development institutes, heads of innovative enterprises, private investors and representatives of executive bodies authorities, guests.
Within the framework of the site, work was organized to identify priority areas for the development of Rostov-on-Don, taking into account the STI markets, as well as the goals for the development of STI, a map of innovative trends in Rostov-on-Don was formed, ways to support the subjects of innovative activity of the city by attracting municipal and federal resources, a pool of projects has been drawn up that promote the innovative development of the city.
The panelists noted the undoubted benefit of such events for the innovative health of our city and the region as a whole.
The results of the discussion platform will be included in the Innovative Passport of the city of Rostov-on-Don 2019, which is updated annually by order of the Department of Economics of Rostov-on-Don. The operator of updating the Innovation Passport in 2019 is the ANO “Agency for Innovations of the Rostov Region”.
