Rostov Combine Factory “Rostselmash” will deliver completely knocked-down sets for combine harvesters assembling to Uzbekistan. The agreement was signed October 19 within the framework of the First Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The document was signed in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Nodir Otazhonov, Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Denis Manturov, and Governor of the Rostov Region, Vasiliy Golubev.
According to the contract concluded between Rostselmash and Chirchiq Agricultural Techniques Plant, in the first half of 2019, the Rostov Combine Factory will supply its Uzbek partner the products for assembling of 200 combine harvesters RSM-101 “Vector-410”. The contract value is 35 million US dollars.
“The agreement consolidates and develops the partnerships previously formed between the Rostov Combine Factory and Uzbekistan. Thus, in 2017, the Factory supplied 14 forage harvesters to Uzbekistan. Since the beginning of this year – 100 combine harvesters “Vector” and the same number of the completely knocked-down sets for combines and tractors for assembling at the Chirchiq Agricultural Techniques Plant. From now, the partnership moves into a higher level,” – the Don Governor commented on the agreement signed.
According to Vasiliy Golubev, assembling of the completely knocked-down sets in Uzbekistan is not less profitable for the Don builders of agricultural machines than direct sales of the Don machinery.
“Possession of our agricultural machinery intends its maintenance, which means that the partnership will be continued,” – Vasiliy Golubev is confident.
