In Rostov-on-Don, a free training seminar “Financial instruments for business development” was held for representatives of small and medium businesses, and for those who are just planning to start a business. Experts from the Bank of Russia and financial institutions shared with entrepreneurs what is crowdfunding and how it can be useful for business, what to do if transaction on a bank account are blocked, as well as what kind of financial instruments will help to save money for the business.
The seminar participants become aware of new opportunities provided to small and medium businesses by funds and microfinance institutions, of Exchange Traded Products allowing to save money when dealing with foreign currency, as well as of insurance types which may save business in an unfavorable situation.
The seminar was held within the framework of the Financial Awareness Week in the North Caucasus. The Bank of Russia implements a program on improvement of financial awareness of small and medium businesses throughout the country. Live events are conducted, and a permanent online resource www.dengidela.com is launched. Twice a year, online-marathons for newcomer entrepreneurs are held. All the contributions are available to the public and one can download and view them at any time.
