Rostov Port is the second largest port in the South of Russia and one of the largest Russian companies. The company has commercial relationships with Europe, Africa and many other countries.
Dmitry Chernyshov, the Deputy Head of the City Administration for Economics, has paid a working visit to the Rostov Port, JSC. It should be noted that the company has the status of a seaport and plays a significant role in the development of the region.
The turnover of the services rendered by the port has increased by 17.7% for just one year in comparison with the previous one.
Pavel Shatsky, the General Director of the Rostov Port, JSC, told about his enterprise, "The Rostov Port, JSC, renders services on reloading of various cargoes, makes forwarding services, chartering vessels all the year round and in a round-the-clock mode. Ship dispatch to the countries of the Black Sea and Mediterranean basins is carried out from the port. The port accepts ships under foreign flags, the opening and closing of the state border is made here."
It is also important that 16 vessels of the river-sea class can be handled at the berths simultaneously with a carrying capacity of up to 5,000 tons.
Dmitry Chernyshov highly appreciated the possibilities of the Rostov Cargo Port and wished further development to the management and employees of the enterprise in the following year.
