The Governor of the Rostov Region requested to develop a plan for commissioning the Rostov-Arena

A plan on completing construction and commissioning of the Rostov-Arena this November must be submitted to the Governor of the Rostov Region in 10 days. Vasily Golubev gave this order on Thursday, August 3, following a visit and a working meeting at the main Don sports building site for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, in which Araz Agalarov, the CEO of the contractor company Crocus International, participated.

Vitaly Kushnaryov, the Head of the Rostov-on-Don Administration, also attended the meeting.

‘It is important that we all work as a single organism and promptly solve all problems. It is important for all parties involved in the commissioning to cooperate. The road map for commissioning the stadium must be on my table in 10 days. All issues must be addressed’, Vasily Golubev instructed.

Araz Agalarov confirms the construction of the Rostov-Arena will be completed this November.

‘We believe the overall readiness of the stadium is 85%, although some parts are 90-95% ready. We think there are no problems and the stadium will be ready right on schedule. We will commission it by November. I have no doubt that the stadium will be ready by that time’, he assured.

Vasiliy Golubev emphasizes that all paperwork must be done properly.

According to Timofey Pan, Acting Head of the North-Caucasian Department of Rostekhnadzor (Federal Environmental, Engineering and Nuclear Supervision Agency), representatives of Rostekhnadzor are ready to start working promptly.

‘We are ready to work online. If necessary, we will involve more employees to do our work in a timely manner’, he said.

Governor Vasily Golubev and the CEO of Crocus-International JSC Araz Agalarov also visited the Rostov-Arena, where they were convinced that the construction of a football field was carried out on schedule and in strict accordance with the experts’ recommendations.
