The results of the first semi-final of the UMNIK Competition were summed up in Rostov-on-Don

On October 2, 2018, the semi-final of the UMNIK Competition took place in Rostov-on-Don. Experts evaluated 17 innovative projects. The list of the participants who proceed to the next selection stage of the program was published. The next stage is an off-site expert examination: Selected applications will be sent to the representative office of another region of the Russian Federation.

Project: “Development of an interactive device for hot drinks brewing by cyclic percolation method.”

Project: “Development of a multi-purpose transforming module in USB Flash format for connection of transducers with I2C and 1-Wire buses.”

- Aleksandr Chernyshev
Project: “Development of “Lie2me” Web-service for detection of the falsehood on video and audio recordings of negotiations.”

- Pavel Oganesian
Project: “Module for optimization of topology and shape of structures of inhomogeneous materials.”

Projects that failed to pass the semi-final selection may be improved following the experts’ comments. The participant can apply for the UMNIK Competition in 2019.

It should be also recalled that the additional semi-final will be held in Rostov-on-Don on October 30 (Applications are accepted before October 23, 2018).
