The acceptance of applications for participation in the UMNIK-Sberbank contest has been opened, which is aimed at supporting projects in the field of end-to-end technologies of the digital economy that contribute to the creation of a global IT ecosystem. The competition is being implemented as part of the UMNIK program of the Innovation Assistance Fund in conjunction with Sberbank Public Joint-Stock Company.
Students, graduate students, young scientists, innovators, entrepreneurs and employees of high-tech companies aged 18 to 30 years inclusive, who are citizens of the Russian Federation and previously have no contracts with the Fund, can take part in the competition.
The thematic areas of the competition correspond to the cross-cutting digital technologies of the national program “Digital Economy”:
- artificial Intelligence;
- virtual and augmented reality technologies;
- new manufacturing technologies;
- components of robotics and sensorics;
- wireless technology;
- distributed registry systems;
- quantum technologies.
The priority industry area is Data science.
The authors of the best projects will receive a grant in the amount of 500 thousand rubles for the implementation of their ideas. Further mentoring of winning projects by experts of PJSC Sberbank is planned.
