Investment project: Class A logistics terminal for storage and processing of goods and servicing the commodity circulation process in the regional consumer market of the South of Russia.

The investment project implemented is a complex with the latest innovative technologies in the field of logistics, and with the total volume of storage and handling of goods more than 10 thousand pallets. The level of cargo handling is 3PLi, which enables the organization to provide a full range of services for the safe storage, in-depth processing and transportation of goods, as well as provide additional services and conduct additional operations in the regional goods circulation system.
Basic logistics operations:
- Acceptance and release of goods with incoming cargo quality and transportation parameters control;
- Address storage of goods in an interval temperature mode, both as monopallets and mixed pallets, boxes and single-piece;
- Cross-docking services;
- Bundling of production batches, monitoring the threshold values of the sell by dates;
- Production of sets of several units of goods, with a single packaging and marking, and manufacture of stickers with bar codes and marking of products;
- Inventory and accounting of goods, real time reporting on the goods movement;
- Formation of a complete package of commodity and accompanying documentation;
- Transport logistics.

What was the idea or starting point for this project?
The objective demand of the market, the available experience and knowledge, and the need to meet the demand for the services of 3 PLi-providers, offered by NCLC, LLC.
What goals has this project achieved?
The logistics terminal was built in the shortest possible time. The company gained experience in designing both a warehouse building using innovations and using the “green logistics” technologies.

What difficulties arose during the project implementation, what has helped you to cope with them?
Due to the construction of the facility in the area of existing buildings, there were objective difficulties in resolving issues related to property and land and construction permits.

The design and construction of the new terminal allowed us to practice the technologies of design, construction and operation, which is extremely in demand in the subsequent reconstruction of the enterprise as a whole.

The enterprise has been certified for compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System. All warehouse management operations are carried out based on the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and innovative information and logistics technologies developed and patented by the company’s experts. The enterprise has successfully mastered the interaction with the customer information systems (SAP, TMS) and the full electronic data exchange within the framework of the operation.
Among the clients of the company are: Unilever, JTI, ERISMANN, Frito Lei Manufacturing, PepsiCo, etc. The complex has the 1st category of power supply reliability. We have created the comfortable working and recreation conditions for employees.
