Baltika intends to invest an additional 270 million rubles in its plant in Rostov. The corresponding agreement was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum by the president of the company Denis Sherstennikov and the governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev.
The funds will be used to modernize the bottling line, which will expand the range of beer varieties produced at the plant and reduce logistics costs, as well as to replace the 7.5 MW gas turbine unit.
The generated energy will be able to fully cover the needs of the plant, and its surplus will be supplied to the city grid, the Agency for Investment Development of the Rostov Region reported.
